Persian carpet doc to join 2 international filmfests

Iranian documentary ‘Weavers of Imagination’ with a theme on Persian carpet is to join two international festivals in the US and India.

Directed by Seyed Mohammad-Sadeq Jafari, it is produced by Iran Documentary and Experimental Film Center and will be shown at the documentary strands of LIFFT event in India as well as  Norman Film Festival in the US.

Both events are in their debut edition and are considered as premiere festivals with both US  and India events to be held in September.

The Norman Film Festival is an annual event whose goal is to provide film opportunities for budding Artists To Exhibit Their Work. ​

Lifft India is a global touring festival of literature, illusion, information, film, frame, television and theatre awards to be originating from and held annually in Lonavla, a tourist destination of India near Mumbai.

The 30-minute documentary depicts the life of blind people who devise a method for weaving a carpet and enjoy happy moments of their lives.
